Gary Caldwell has reflected on City's 8-0 pre-season win over Mousehole on Tuesday evening.
Seven different names were on the scoresheet at Trungle Parc, with newbie Vincent Harper impressing with a brace.
"It was a fantastic setting for a game of football and a superb pitch," Gary said post-match.
"It was a nice night and the players enjoyed it. In the first half they had intent to go and win and put the opposition under pressure. The first half team was ruthless and we shifted through the gears, showing what we worked on.
"The second half team finished the game much stronger and I'm really pleased with how today has gone.
"Tonight there was an opportunity for [15-year-old] Jake Richards and I thought he was the best player on the pitch tonight. He showed real quality and it is what this club is all about."
